  • Biometric data (Face ID/Touch ID processed on-device only)

Data Security

Subscription and Payments

Journie offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

  • Free Trial: If offered, the free trial period will be clearly displayed before purchase
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
  • Managing Subscriptions: View and cancel in iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Refunds: Handled according to Apple's App Store refund policies

Your Rights and Choices

You have comprehensive rights regarding your personal data:

Journie is designed for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect, use, or share personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will:

  • Delete the information immediately
  • Not use or share the information
  • Take steps to prevent future collection from that user

Parents: If you believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately at the contact information below, and we will promptly delete all associated data.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Journie after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
